GrammaTech Awarded NSF Research Grant to Develop Dependence Graphs for Dynamic Internet Technologies
Ithaca, NY -- GrammaTech, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a $99,904 Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program Phase I grant by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Upon completion of this six-month contract GrammaTech will be eligible to compete for up to $500,000 in Phase II SBIR funding. Under terms of the agreement, GrammaTech will investigate techniques for developing dependence graphs for dynamic Internet technologies such as Java, JavaScript, and ASP.
Software tools based on dependence graphs are distinguished by their ability to extract and operate deeper within the semantic structure of software programs than current tools. They will allow GrammaTech to develop a series of applications for the maintenance, reuse, restructuring, testing, and debugging of Internet technologies.
