GrammaTech Announces CodeSonar 2.0

San Jose, CA – September 28, 2006 – GrammaTech, a leading vendor of static-analysis tools for C/C++ and Ada, announced today its next version of CodeSonar. CodeSonar™ performs a deep static analysis on C/C++ code and identifies a variety of serious bugs. These include null-pointer dereferences, divides-by-zero, and buffer overruns. CodeSonar 2.0 introduces two major improvements: new support for analyzing programs written in C++ and support for analyzing projects consisting of more than a million lines of source code.

Many leading organizations, including NASA, SanDisk, Credence, and Smiths Aerospace, use CodeSonar to increase software quality and reliability.

Mark Zarins, GrammaTech's VP of Products, said, “Our customers need to analyze large C++ projects with CodeSonar, so we are pleased to announce that CodeSonar 2.0 handles these projects."
